LEGO has released many Batman related merchandise. None of which has been of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, until now.
This Wednesday, attendees of San Diego Comic Con will be the first to see the LEGO tumbler in person. The display will show off the toy, which is made of 1,869 pieces and measures at 15 inches tall and 9 inches wide. It will later go on sale in LEGO stores and shop.LEGO.com this September for $199.
There has been a smaller version of the tumbler done by LEGO before but not this detailed. Details include the armored exterior, adjustable wings, a detailed interior and oversized rubber-tread tires. A movie fact sheet about the vehicle will also be included.
Another major LEGO announcement is that Heath Ledger’s Joker from The Dark Knight will finally appear in LEGO form. A set featuring mini figurines of Christian Bale’s styled Batman and Ledger’s Joker will also come with the tumbler toy.
