According to the new photos from the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’s set, with Ben Affleck’s first look as Bruce Wayne, he will be sporting a touch of gray at the temples. This demonstrates Ben Affleck will be portraying a mature and experienced Bruce Wayne, or is at least what we can assume by the images below.
With pictures from fan Samuel Otten, posted by him via Twitter, the scene seems to take place in front of the Wayne Financial building in Metropolis, with Affleck wearing a purple shirt and a vest, all of this shot at the film’s set in Corktown MI.
While the plot device of a mature and aged Bruce has been done before in animated films like The Dark Knight Returns and feature films like Christopher Nolan’s recent Batman series, it just reinforces how appealing the idea of an experienced super-hero is to the media and fans alike. We can just hope the gray streaks do equal experience on-screen.
Update
We have gotten our hands into a new set of photos of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, this time, the pictures get a complete look at the actor in his new attire as the billionaire and excentric persona of our Dark Knight. Sporting the same outfit of the previous pictures, Affleck seems quite comfortable with playing Mr. Wayne.
The first photo was taken by the end of last week.
From Getty Images, the next photos were snapped on August 9.
While the rest were released Wednesday this week.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to be released on March 25, 2016 in 3D in theaters everywhere, starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, also starring Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and more.
