Since season one we’ve been wondering about the reasons behind John Diggle’s brother’s death. Flyod Lawton a.k.a. Deadshot was paid to take down target Andrew Diggle by an organization known as H.I.V.E. The explanation behind the murder remains a mystery. During the episode “Suicidal Tendencies” viewers finally got a look at the first interaction between Deadshot and H.I.V.E. Who was the woman who made contact with Lawton? How much longer before H.I.V.E. resurfaces on Arrow? It looks as though the evil organization will be surrounding the main antagonist during season four.

For those of you who don’t know H.I.V.E. from the Legion of Doom I’ll give a brief biography. H.I.V.E. is a criminal organization that has seen its fair share of super-villain members. It stands for Hierarchy of International Vengeance and Extermination. Most notably H.I.V.E hired master assassin Deathstroke to take out the Teen Titans. I doubt it, but I would like to see this be the catalyst to Slade getting off the island and coming back to be the unstoppable Deathstroke we all know. I’m sure Manu Bennett would agree.

queenbee

My other thought is in regard to the woman who brings Deadshot the assignment. Could this be Queen Bee in the flesh? Maybe, but I can’t see the head of H.I.V.E handing out her own targets to worker bees. Her identity still remains a mystery. The only thing for sure is that this will bring Diggle closer to finding out about his brother. David Ramsey spoke to E! Online about next season and H.I.V.E.’s involvement.

“From my understanding, H.I.V.E. is going to be a big part of next season’s big baddie. We are going to delve right into why H.I.V.E. hired Deadshot to kill Andy and what H.I.V.E. is all about to begin with. There will be a lot of Diggle’s connection to H.I.V.E. next season so stay tuned.”

In any case Arrow returns April 15 on The CW at 8/7c. You might get a glimpse of Team Arrow the day before in Central City.
