The mind of actor, comedian, producer, writer, and director Seth Green is already a scary, yet wonderfully off place. When he and Matthew Seinreich created Robot Chicken over 10 years ago, who knew it would turn into the juggernaut — no, Planet Mogo of a fixture on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim lineup.

Apparently, DC Comics’ Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns was approached by Green and Seinreich to do a DC Comics special, he did. Because they are about to release their 3rd special this fall, Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3: Magical Friendship. And fresh from the San Diego Comic Con, here is a trailer to the special.

Robot Chicken has a history of enlisting stars to do voiceovers for different episodes, and Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3: Magical Friendship is no exception. Adam West (Batman 1968), Burt Ward (Batman 1968), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2), Nathan Fillion (Serenity, Castle), “Weird Al” Yankovic (Batman vs. Robin) and Mae Whitman (Parenthood, Young Justice) join in on this year’s fun.

In this year’s Robot Chicken/DC Comics team-up, Batman and Superman’s bromance is put through the paces.

Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3: Magical Friendship premieres this fall on Adult Swim.
