Jason Momoa Talks Aquaman in ‘Batman v Superman’

When (after much speculation) the world found out that Jason Momoa would in fact play Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the actor can’t go many places without people asking him about the role. A role he will extend throughout the DC Entertainment Universe, including his own movie.

Jason Momoa was in Toronto for Fan Expo Canada 2015 this weekend, and he revealed what he could about all things Aquaman. “I can’t see me busting out a bunch of jokes. I mean, I don’t think it’ll be like that,” said Momoa. He also declined to comment (or not comment…) whether or not he would be in direct conflict with Ben Afflick and Henry Cavill in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

“I don’t think Aquaman’s going to be raping and pillaging any villages,” he joked. Momoa was making reference to his role of “Khal Drogo” in HBO’s Game of Thrones.

One thing is probably certain, Jason Momoa will be less like this,
aquaman superfriends

and more like this.

Official Description: Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before (Source: BvS:DoJ).

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in U.S. theaters on March 25, 2016.
