Tom King and Mitch Gerards will once again be teaming up this August to work on a 12 issue run of Mister Miracle, the great escape artist/superhero created by Jack Kirby as part of his Fourth World New Gods books which also created the likes of Darkseid, Orion, and Highfather. In an online interview with podcaster Ryan Higgins, Gerards replied to a tweet from a fan who was commenting how DC should make a Rebirth book based on the New Gods, to which Gerards replied:

If you’re like me, then you absolutely love the New Gods and pretty much everything about that world that Jack Kirby created. This news sounds like the best thing you can hear regarding this series and if what Gerards says is true, it should generate even greater excitement among fans.
