Suicide Squad 2 is rumored to begin filming later this fall, but it appears that the cast is already training together to get ready.
Joel Kinnaman, who plays Rick Flag, posted a photo on Twitter and Instagram of him working out with Suicide Squad stars Jai Courtney and Jay Hernandez, along with a trainer. “Brendan whipping us back into shape. Jay puked,” he wrote.
The head guard at Belle Reve Penitentiary in Suicide Squad, Ike Barinholtz, saw the new photo on Instagram and simply replied “YES”. Possibly adding evidence that this gym session is Suicide Squad 2 related.

Of course it’s also possible that Kinnaman, Courtney, and Hernandez all stayed close and are just working out together, and this has nothing to do with Suicide Squad 2. (Spoiler alert) And though Jay Hernandez’s character seemingly died in Suicide Squad, this could signal his return to the franchise.
