Summary

The super-powered experimental progeny of 2MorrowTek have awakened and broken free of their corporate masters—and their next target is Raven! And she must die, or Trigon’s forces will capture her to learn how to enable Trigon to have another…daughter of darkness!

Positives

We find Raven and Arella arguing about where she needs to be, quite a different view of Raven as readers mostly know her from her relationship with her father. We also get a different look at Azar, as he’s been harvesting bodies to take over Raven’s place as Daughter of Darkness to Trigon.

Baron Winters remains Raven’s main antagonist as he roots for her ruin He senses that she will meet her demise on Christmas Eve, proving to readers a rather dubious opponent for Raven. Lastly, the most eye opening panel happens on page 16, where we get not only a history on Arella, but exactly how Trigon seduced Arella to bear his seed.

Negatives

There are no negatives worth mentioning in this issue.

Verdict

This issue gives even more insight into Raven and Arella, a relationship I hope to see more of in this series.
