San Diego Comic Con is every super fan’s favorite time of year and its rolling closer every day! As studios and actors get ready for the big weekend, WBTV is already marking its territory for the event. Scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 18, kick-off night with WBTV will be screening its new tv pilot for the plane crash drama Manifest. A new episode of The 100 season 5 will also screen as well as the CW Seed animated series Freedom Fighters: The Ray.
Panels will begin Friday, July 20 with the incredible inclusion of Riverdale taking over the famed Hall H. Famous for its massive trailer reveals and movie announcements, Hall H is reserved for the best and biggest moments of the con. Syfy’s Krypton and the first DC Universe digital streaming series, Young Justice: Outsiders, will both be in attendance and presumably premiering there respective trailers. While no official announcement has been made, the long-awaited Titans is expected to premiere a trailer too.
The CW, DC’s main staple for distributing its TV content, won’t be far behind as it will have panels for its shows Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Black Lighting, and the latest Vampire Diaries spin-off Legacies. While all shows can be found in its usual Ballroom 20 spot of the con, Riverdale must have some massive announcement concerning its future to secure Hall H. What could be so big you need the biggest hall of the con? We sure can’t wait to find out!
