April Bowlby Cast As Elasti-Woman In Doom Patrol Series

Actress April Bowlby has officially been cast as the size-changing Elasti-Woman for the DC Universe streaming service’s upcoming series Doom Patrol, as confirmed by DC Entertainment Friday afternoon.

Elasti-Woman (Elasti-Girl in comic books) is Rita Farr, an actress who gains the power to alter her size after a chemical accident. Bowlby is best known for her role on Drop Dead Diva. Kelsey Grammer has reportedly been cast as Doom Patrol‘s Niles Caulder, a.k.a. The Chief.

Doom Patrol will debut in 2019 on the DC Universe streaming service, and will connect to DC Universe’s Titans series, in which Elasti-Woman will make her debut.
