Massive DC Event Announced for 2019 by Scott Snyder

“Everything is back, we want to pay it forward.”

That is the statement made by Justice League writer Scott Snyder at San Diego Comic-Con International 2018 as he announced the next major DC Universe Crossover for the next year.

Set up as a long-term goal since his climactic series Dark Knights: Metal, Snyder has taken what he built during his run on Batman and has extended it to the rest of the DC Universe.

He explains, “The Omega Titans, Barbatos, the Forge, it’s all coming back. Everything you read, our goal is to reward. All of it culminates in like a year like a Metal event. I don’t know if I’m supposed to be saying that, but I’m saying it.”

Given how Dark Knights: Metal engulfed the DC Universe whole and introduced multiple concepts of a Batman gone wrong, the ramifications of these players and elements plaguing the entire DC landscape are unimaginable and will be as gripping as this series was.
