Paparazzi Photos Show Joaquin Phoenix Lost A Lot of Weight

Joker starts filming in NYC next week and Joaquin Phoenix is already in town. A few candid photos have been snapped of him and he doesn’t look the same. Phoenix has lost a lot of weight ahead of the filming.

Just Jared shared some paparazzi photos of Phoenix walking around NYC with director Todd Phillips. Phoenix was never a heavy guy, but you can clearly tell he’s lost weight. Joker is typically portrayed as tall and skinny, so he’s probably just prepping for the role.

Joker will be released on October 4th, 2019.
