The time has come!
FOX has officially announced that Gotham will return Jan. 3 for its fifth and final season.
The season will be shorter than the previous and serves to tie up loose ends and plot points for the story, as well as introduce the Dark Knight on the small screen. Bruce will finally complete his journey and fully become the vigilante his city needs to be saved. The story will focus on Gotham City being cut off from the mainland still, Jerome inching closer to being the full Joker, and Bane coming to town. And, of course, Bruce coming ever closer to taking on the mantle of the Batman.
