Season Two of the DC Universe show ‘Titans’ has its main villain, and it’s none other than the infamous assassin Slade Wilson, also known as Deathstroke. The battle for who has the hottest streaming service is clearly on with Disney to launch their own, Amazon, Netflix and there will be more to come. You can bet that DC Comics will be strategically looking to invest heavily in the online DC Universe over time to stay competitive in the market.
Titans enjoyed a solid first season, with back story’s established for its main characters, and climax towards the end triggered huge debate about how Batman was portrayed regardless if the last episode was a reality or dream sequence. The Titans will absolutely have their hands full with Slade Wilson who will be played by NYPD Blue and Ozark vet Esai Morales.
Titans have taken the same route as what Arrow did introducing the character (Deathstroke) in Season 2 while enjoying an increase in ratings, will Titans experience the same ratings increase?
The show’s official description of the dangerous villain is as follows:
“Slade Wilson is known for being DC’s deadliest assassin. While serving his country, Slade became an elite soldier before government testing enhanced his physiology to near superhuman levels, putting him on a path of darkness and revenge. To his family, Slade is a father and husband, but to the rest of the world, he is feared by many as the infamous Deathstroke; selling his services to the highest bidder as the ruthless assassin that never gives up and never misses.”
