You were warned! DC asked you not to get too attached to the roster of misfits that were corralled into the latest iteration of Task Force X, but their mission isn’t complete and here’s your “First Look” at Suicide Squad #2.

Maybe being a supervillain (in the “Year of the Villain”) isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, especially if you have the distinct privilege of serving in a clandestine government black ops organization where part of the benefit is being expendable — but staying alive is only half of the fun, as the latest recruits begin to settle into Task Force X in the newest issue of Suicide Squad #2 hitting stands soon. The creative team of Tom Tyler and Bruno Redondo have a lot to live up to after the surprise hijinks in the first issue in the latest run.

Veteran members Harley Quinn and Deadshot found themselves in a league of their own, breaking in some new team members. Not all of them made it out alive after that baptism of fire of a first mission, and with the squad now under new management, Harley and Deadshot are finding that the odds are irrevocably stacked even against them! Will the new squad members prove their mettle in the heat of the fire or are they just going to throw the veterans under the bus to save their own skins?
