In a more pleasant timeline wherein numerous movies weren’t delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we would currently be gearing up for the theatrical release of Wonder Woman 1984. Instead, the highly anticipated film has been pushed from June to August, so let’s hope it doesn’t arrive any later than that.
Fortunately, Empire has whetted our appetites with a couple images taken from the Patty Jenkins-directed picture. Found below, we first see the Amazon Warrior donning her Golden Eagle armor already known to comic book readers. In addition to that, we’re given a glimpse at Diana Prince and Steve Trevor apparently slow dancing in front of the Lincoln Memorial.
Considering how we now have an additional few months separating us from opening weekend, I expect that more goodies hit the web during that time period – and hopefully another trailer isn’t too far off, because we could sure use something as uplifting. As always, it’s recommended that you keep it tuned to DC Comics News for all the latest.
Wonder Woman 1984 arrives in theaters on August 14th.
