If you are at NYCC 2015, then you have probably seen the commercial that informs you that the free WiFi is presented by LexCorp’s own Lex/OS that provides
the world’s most private and secure operating system, engineered with the protection you need and the freedom you want…
Now I am not one to trust everything that is free, but the free portable charger that is mentioned in the video for just dropping by their booth is enticing enough to make me at least drop by and see what is up. Okay yes, and to get a free portable charger because freebies. Now don’t get me wrong this doesn’t mean I trust Lex or his company but I figure as long as it isn’t used then I am good, right? Cause you know, he’s kind of evil so who knows what hidden trick he has added into all of those chargers.
However, the video is really professional and looks great as a convincing ad which is all presented without any actors present, just the narrator and the calming animation that kind of reminds me of Umbrella Corp now that I really think of it.
