Actor Nicholas D’Agosto (Masters Of Sex) has been cast in FOX’s newest drama series Gotham as District Attorney-turned-super villain, Harvey Dent. You might know him better as the impulsive villain “Two-Face.”

Batman 14 annualTwo-Face is known by fans as a villain obsessed with duality, chance and the number two. He shows this by making all major decisions with the flip of a two-headed coin that has one side defaced. The character has appeared in multiple Batman media forms, including video games, animation, and the Batman film series.

Gotham‘s Dent is described as a “bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney” trying to rid Gotham of its crime. David Zayas (Dexter) has already been rumored to play the role of mob boss Salvatore Maroni, the man who was responsible for disfiguring Dent by splashing him in the face with a bottle of acid during a court hearing, leaving him hospitalized and hideously scarred.

D’Agosto will be a recurring character for the rest of the first season of the show with an option to become a regular in season 2.
