Warner Bros. has cast their founding members of the DC Cinematic Universe’s Justice League. All except for Green Lantern. Although it has been confirmed that Green Lantern will have a role in the DC film world, we have yet to even discover which Green Lantern will be featured in the line-up of movies coming in the next few years.
Many of the younger fans hope that it will be John Stewart rather than Hal Jordan, due to the fact that John Stewart was the DC Animated Universe’s leading lantern from 2001 to 2006 in the Justice League cartoons.
The admiration for John Stewart runs deep in the fans. So deep in fact, that some fans have decided to manifest that admiration into fan-film teaser that gives us a look at what a Green Lantern film starring John Stewart might look like.
The teaser stars Dio Johnson as Green Lantern John Stewart and Darell Womack as Lex Luthor. It was written by Coco Dallons, Genaro Marzan and Hisonni Johnson, who is also the writer/director the fan-made series Grayson: Earth One.
