Batman: Arkham Knight DLC, “Batgirl: A Matter of Family” details released!
Batgirl will finally be a playable character in the Batman: Arkham Knight franchise. The DLC “A Matter of Family” is a prequel to the events of Arkham Knight, before Barbara transitions to her role as Oracle and has been developed by Warner Bros. Montreal, developers of Arkham Origins. The team at WB is using the Batman Arkham Knight engine built by Rocksteady. This is the first of six DLC’s in development with a one per month release schedule. The rest of the DLC’s are currently in development at Rocksteady Studios.
Batgirl: A Matter of Family has only been announced for PS4 and Xbox One. No announcements have been made about the PC version which is currently on hold. To read more about the PC disaster click here.
Below is the first rendering of what Batgirl will look like in Batman: Arkham Knight.
Barbara Gordon/Batgirl will be voiced by Ashley Greene. Though an accomplished actress, this will be the first time Ashley has voiced a video game character.
