Hey everyone, if you thought you had everything for Mortal Kombat X think again! At the beginning of this month Ed Boon had started tweeting hints about the new content to come. NetherRealm Studio’s has confirmed a release for the DLC entitled Kombat Pack 2 which is set to come out in 2016 that will unlock more playable characters, skins, and a new environment in-game. Ed also commented through NetherRealm Studio’s by officially stating,

[We are] developing new downloadable content (DLC) for ‘Mortal Kombat X,’ the best-selling game of 2015 to-date according to US NPD. The new content will include four new playable characters, skins and a new environment, all of which will be available in the first half of 2016.

Although neither Ed nor anyone else from NetherRealm Studio’s has officially said who is coming in this next DLC Kombat Pack 2 there have been some possible clues as pointed out by iDigitalTimes with the use of full moons in some of the tweets. This could mean we get to play as Nightwolf.  Which if you know his backstory then it shouldn’t be too shocking since his former arch nemesis Quan Chi and Shinnok are already in Mortal Kombat X. The presence of mist or fog makes me think there might be either Smoke or Baraka in this new DLC as well. Although judging by the most recent tweet it is looking pretty good for the DLC to have four new playable characters.  Still wanting some proof, here are some of his tweets from Ed Boon himself. Comment below if you think it might be someone else or what all you would like to see in the Kombat Pack 2.
