With March just around the corner we get to see DC’s teasers of the return of Watchmen to the DC Universe with a Batman and Flash crossover as shown on their respective comic book covers featuring the smiley-face button, the official-unofficial symbol of Watchmen. In case you weren’t able to get hold of that issue the button was found in the Batcave at the close of last year’s DC Universe Rebirth Special that is sure to be an amazing tie-in with the upcoming issues of Batman and Flash issues #21 as well as in issues #22.
For those who know of Tom King, he posted a fun little teaser on Twitter with the upcoming cover that he is co-writing with The Flash writer Joshua Williamson with a teaser image for issue #22.
Now with the continuation of the DC Universe: Rebirth that comes out this April entitled “The Button,” which is a four-part story arc that reveals the next piece of this ongoing puzzle, we get to see Jay Garrick come back in Flash #22. They have now released the variant covers between the Batman and Flash crossovers so look for them at your local comic book shop!
