Talks surrounding the story, script, and characters for Matt Reeves’ The Batman have dominated the internet since the announcement of Reeves’ involvement in the project for Warner Bros and DC.
Recently, Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin has been linked as the main villain on the project after Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) and Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina) were linked to Birds of Prey. Â Cobblepot makes an amazing villain for The Batman as his wit and mental aptitude makes him a formidable foe for a Bruce Wayne just beginning his career as The Dark Knight but that doesn’t mean that The Penguin will be flying solo as the antagonist for the film.
Heroic Hollywood has reported that The Batman will feature another villain, yet no word on which Batman rogue will join Penguin in his quest to dominate Gotham City.
Penguin often operates as a more “behind-the-scenes” character to avoid being directly connected to his crimes so it would leave one to assume that his partner will have a more physically violent style to draw Batman fists away from The Penguin.
Only one can speculate who Penguin will have as his muscle as more talk surrounding The Batman floods the internet as time goes on.
