Halloween may have come and gone, but it looks like the horror genre is only just coming into the season as far as fans are concerned. The DC Comics and Joe Hill cooperative DC’s Hill House is scaring up a whole new fanbase that can’t get enough of getting freaked out of their wits. The initial release in the macabre line of all-new sinister tales continues to take root in Basketful of Heads #3 which will be hitting shelves on December 18. The first issue of the limited-run series is a #1 best-seller and going back into print.

Basketful of Heads #3 is written by Joe Hill with art by Leomacs and colors by Dave Stewart, with Variant Cover by Tula Lotay.

The haunting tale by Joe Hill follows the character of June Branch and her enchanted ax, along with her other sidekick — a severed head June carries in a basket that just won’t shut up. She is desperately trying to get the right answers out of him before a pack of killers catches up to them! The issue also features a back-up tale: the next installment of the “Sea Dogs” storyline.
