Strange Adventures Joins DC Black Label

It’s a story of war, love and blood that will captivate and consume readers for a long time to come.  It’s a groundbreaking adventure full of twists, turns, adventure and intrigue that draws readers in and doesn’t let go.

It’s Strange Adventures and it is the new, widely anticipated, 28-page per issue maxi-series from DC Black Label and it lands in stores on March 4th 2020.

Strange Adventures unites the creative genius of Tom King, Mitch Gerads, Evan “Doc” Shaner and Clayton Cowles.

Strange Adventures will carry a 17+ content descriptor on certain covers that landed the story inside the realm at DC Black Label with content that draws parallels to the Eisner award winning series, Mister Miracle, from King and Gerads.

Author Tom King recently discussed the parallels between Mister Miracle and Strange Adventures:

“Like Mister Miracle, Strange Adventures is hugely ambitious.  Unlike Mister Miracle, this isn’t another tale of one man’s angst or trauma or recovery.  Strange Adventures is fundamentally about something larger, deeper, and darker; it’s trying to speak to the nature of truth and how our assumptions about that nature can tear us apart.”

DC Group Editor, James S Rich added:

“As Strange Adventures was coming together, we had to take a step back and look at what made themes sense for the project.  Since its tone and themes are more in the vein of Mister Miracle than, say, Tom King’s work on Batman, we decided that it made more sense to give Strange Adventures its own space, where Tom, Mitch, Doc and Clayton could follow the story to all the different place it might take them.”

It won’t be long before fas will be treated to the imagination that was merged together by four amazing talents as Strange Adventures #1 will hit shelves on March 4, 2020.
