For gamers everywhere looking to shock their systems, prepare for the storm to come when Black Lightning arrives to reign chaos in INJUSTICE 2.
With the growing anticipation around the upcoming CW series DC Comics classic superhero Black Lightning is enjoying a higher profile that comes with his newfound celebrity. For many of the Lightning’s fan base that have been following the career one of the imprint’s first minority characters, it’s about time the world caught up with this one-time outsider with the major wattage to move into the spotlight!
Along with the sure-fire success of the series produced by Berlanti Productions and starring Cress Williams, the urban crusader has just been added as an in-player option part of the new Injustice 2 video game series line-up. Black Lightning is seen in the recently released trailer for the game which sports an appearance by Mortal Combat veteran Raiden, who is seen battling a version of Brainiac.
The Black Lightning release will arrive as part of the brand-new Premiere Skin that will be part of the Raiden roll-out which also promises some all-new villains that will include Gorilla Grodd and Deadshot. Injustice 2 continues the game play from its highly successful predecessor Injustice: Gods Among Us that has Batman working to restore order while fighting against those adversaries looking to bring back the regime lead by the Man of Steel.
