The Green Lantern Corps join the CW adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths. However, it’s not on the small screen.

DC began the backup stories associated with the CW crossover last month, written by Marc Guggenhiem and original story scribe Marv Wolfman. Art duties are being handled by Tom Grummett with Tom Derenik, Andy Owens and Trevor Scott. The main plot continues to follow Felicity Smoak and how she deals with the death of Oliver Queen. It also continues the hidden agenda of the megalomaniacal Lex Luthor. For fans of the Arrowverse, it ties in to the easter eggs that have peppered the storylines involving John Diggle for the past few seasons of Arrow. In fact, Earth-90 Barry Allen remarked how Earth-1 John was not wearing his ring in this reality. Further, Diggle’s stepfather’s last name is “Stewart.” Coincidence?

DC offers this synopsis:

“The Multiverse is losing its battle against the Anti-Monitor. Felicity Smoak mounts one last effort to find a way to save Oliver Queen, and it will bring the team face to face with an entire corps of new heroes: A Green Lantern Corps!”

On the Luthor side of the equation, Lex has his own problems, provided for the reader by Guggenheim and Grummett. As established last issue, Luthor has been gathering doppelgangers to form his own think tank. Unfortunately, things went south rather quickly:

“Lex Luthor has been captured by a council of Luthors from across the Multiverse, and to stop them from destroying everything, he’ll need to team up with people he hates: the council of Supermen.”

As before, the issue will provide extras directly associated with the original crossover:
