Over the years, Mondo has become synonymous with high quality merchandise, from beautiful vinyl album prints, exclusive figures and t-shirts, to absolutely gorgeous posters, and so much more. So when I heard Insight Editions was teaming with them to put out a new art book about Batman: The Animated Series, I exploded with joy.
Now, I have loved Insight Editions for a long time and have several of their books, including the art book for the DCEU film Aquaman, the beautiful DC Comics Variant Covers: The Complete Visual History, the incredibly detailed Anatomy of a Metahuman, and my favorite, Batman: The Definitive History of the Dark Knight in Comics, Film, and Beyond.
And Batman: The Animated Series is what spawned my love of Batman and got me hooked on DC Comics, leading to me eventually running DC Comics News and bringing to it a podcast dedicated to Batman: The Animated Series, hosted by the amazing EiC of our sister site Dark Knight News, Steve J Ray.

Paul Dini is an American writer and producer whose work has spanned all forms of mass media. Some of his television credits include Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Animated Series. One of his greatest character contributions was the co-creation (alongside Bruce Timm) of Dr. Harleen Quinzel, more famously known as Harley Quinn.
